I purchased this jacket many years ago. The jacket I had was getting worn but I could no longer find it in my area. I was so excited to find it on the internet and ordered it. I wear it for just about everything. Camping, gardening, hiking, canoeing, etc....in rain or snow. It keeps me warm and dry and very durable through all kinds of activities. I use to use it while working at a girl scout camp. Now I ordered one for my son for scouting and one for me to replace my old worn out one. The only thing is that when camping, to watch out for sparks from the camp fire. It tends to burn the jacket pretty easy.

I wear this year round. I buy it a size larger than I usually wear so I can wear a heavy sweatshirt under it int the winter and it's not too tight or fitted in the warmer weather.

I wear my Charles River jacket all through spring and fall (until it gets too cold outside). It's great to throw on going to work, the store or for playing with my grandson. It fits comfortably even with a lightweight sweatshirt underneath it. It always looks clean and neat. It also washes nicely. I purchase one of these jackets about every 2-3 years. They are timeless and I'm happy that Charles River is still producing these items.

I had one of these for years and was sorry to retire it. When I saw the exact same jacket on line in my Long/Tall size, I snapped it up. Very versatile and comfortable.

Jacket is lightweight but warm. Very attractive. Great colors available.

I can wear this jacket all winter long and be warm, and I live in the midwest!!
