My primary goal is to provide free or low-cost sports marketing and management information for athletes, families, coaches, and educators.
The best way to do this is to work with sponsors who want to help and reach these audiences.
At the same time, as a marketing professional I want to ensure that these sponsorships contribute to each sponsor's marketing and marketing communication goals.
In my opinion, happy sponsors and educated athletes will result in more money for sports and fewer mismanagement horror stories.
If sponsorships are handled properly, everyone benefits.
I have several projects in the works and will be actively recruiting sponsors. These projects will reach a variety of audiences (including athletes, parents, coaches, and teachers). Some will be online and some will be offline--all will be highly visible. There will be sponsorship opportunities to fit a variety of marketing communication needs.
