• 1984 Heisman Trophy winner.
• Best remembered for throwing the hail Mary TD pass in the last minute 47-45 upset over Miami in 1984.
• Played in the USFL in 1985, played in the NFL, and then went to Canada in 1990. Was CFL's Most Outstanding Player for six years and won several Grey Cups.
• Returned to the NFL in 1998 to play for the Buffalo Bills and leading them to the playoffs.
