This limited edition features Brutus showing Popeye little mercy as he attempts the big jump, while Olive anxiously awaits his landing. This hand-inked, hand-painted cel is taken from an original sketch by animator, Myron Waldman. Myron Waldman is considered by many to be one of the co-creators of Popeye. He was a directing animator at the famous Fleischer Studios. Waldman is renowned for his work on some of the best Popeye, Superman, Betty Boop and Casper the Friendly Ghost cartoons. Each cel is beautifully hand-painted and hand-inked on acetate and comes mounted against a colorful lithograph background. Each cel bears the official King Features seal, Myron Waldman's signature, and is individually numbered in an edition size of 250.
