This hand-inked, hand-painted cel was taken from an original drawing by animator, Myron Waldman. Myron is considered by many to be one of the co-creators of Popeye. He was directing animator at the famous Fleischer Studios. Myron is renowned for his work on some of the best Popeye, Superman, Betty Boop and Casper the Friendly Ghost cartoons.
