To celebrate their victory, this Wilson NCAA basketball has been hand signed by 14 members of the Texas Western team, 13 players and coach Don Haskins. These members include: Willie "Scoops" Caber, Nevil Shed, Jerry Armstrong, Harry Flournoy, Jr., Willie Worsley, Louie Baudoin, David Lattin, Orsten Artest, Togo Railey, Dick Meyers, Henry Moe Iba, Eddie Mullens, Freddy Joe Schwake and Don Haskins (coach).
