This jersey is made of mesh and has red stripes with blue stripes and white stars on the sides. It has "Sixers" sewn on the front in blue on white and red. The player's number is sewn on the front and back in blue on red twill. The player's name is sewn on the back in blue. In the spring of 1963, Irv Kosloff and Ike Richman purchased the Syracuse Nationals. The team was renamed the 76ers and Dolph Schayes became the first coach for the 1963-64 season. On January 15, 1965, the club acquired Wilt Chamberlain from the San Francisco Warriors for three players and cash. The Sixers began to make history! By July of 1968, the Sixers had won an NBA championship(1966-67) and traded Wilt to the Lakers for three player and no cash!
