Editor Joe Luxbacher, head coach at the University of Pittsburgh, has assembled many of the game's top offensive-minded coaches including Dave Sarachan of D.C. About the EditorJoe Luxbacher has more than 30 years of experience playing and coaching soccer at all levels. A former professional soccer player for the North American Soccer League, American Soccer League, and Major Indoor Soccer League, Luxbacher is head soccer coach at the University of Pittsburgh, a position he has held since 1984. He was named Big East Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 1992 and 1995, and he was selected for the Beading Soccer Club Hall of Fame in 1995. Luxbacher earned his Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh in 1985 with specializations in physical education and management as well as administration of athletics. He lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
