A functional design in javelin throwing. A 2004 IAAF rule change allowed Gill Athletics to develop this IAAF certified composite javelin combining the qualities of the OTE Tailwind Javelins with the vibration dampening characteristics of the carbon javelins. This patent pending design combines a metallic alloy and carbon fiber in a unique design that puts less strain on the thrower than the current most popular carbon javelins, yet has many of the enhanced vibration dampening characteristics. The basic building block for this javelin was the design used to develop the OTE Comp Tailwind which was used to set the current World Record. The Composite FX is the offspring of a World Record holding design and must be thrown to be appreciated. Features: - Low moment - a javelin that is harder to control but has superior flight characteristics
- Headwind point - sharp point for better flight control
- Regular plus grip - slightly larger grip for superior power application
- Precise shafts - javelin shaft with the ultimate precise profile, balance and length for maximum flights
