Ronnie Lidor is a senior lecturer at both the Zinman College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at the Wingate Institute and at the Faculty of Education at Haifa University (Israel). Dr. Lidor has published about 70 articles, book chapters, and proceedings chapters in English and Hebrew. He is the senior editor of the books Sport Psychology: Linking Theory and Practice, (1999), and The World Sport Psychology SourceBook (3rd ed.), (2001), published by Fitness Information Technology (FIT). From 1997 to 2001 Dr. Lidor served as President of the Israeli Society for Sport Psychology and Sociology (ISSPS), and since 1997 he has been a member of the Managing Council of the International Society of Sport Psychology (ISSP). In 2001 he was elected as the Secretary General of the ISSP, and he has been the editor of MovemenÑ Journal of Physical Education and Sport Sciences (Hebrew) since 1999. Keith Page Henschen is a professor in the department of exercise and sport science at the University of Utah, with an area of expertise in the psychosocial aspects of sport. Dr. Henschen received a PED degree from Indiana University in 1971 and has been a member of the University of Utah faculty for the past 30 years. His research interests include the psychology of performance, use of psychological interventions in sport, and sport psychology for special populations. Dr. Henschen has co-authored four textbooks and published approximately 200 articles, 24 chapters of books, and 5 monographs. He has directed 40 doctoral dissertations and 20 masters' theses. He is a frequent research presenter and conference speaker with over 400 presentations. He has served as president (1997-98) of the American Alliance of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (AAHPERD), and he is currently president of the International Society of Sport Psychology (ISSP). Dr. Henschen has consulted with numerous world-class, professional, and elite level athletes as well as six National Governing Boards (NGB's) for the United States Olympic Committee. He has worked with teams in track and field, biathlons, gymnastics, skiing, and speed skating. Dr. Henschen also works with numerous college and professional teams in a variety of sports.
