Chapter 5- The Amount of Group Resource Dr. Bert Carron is Fellow in the American Academy of Kinesiology and Physical Education, the Association for the Advancement of Applied Sport Psychology, and the Canadian Psychomotor Leaming and Sport Psychology Association. He has been a president of the Canadian Association for Sport Sciences and is currently a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology and the Editor of the Journal of Applied Sport Psychology. Bert's writings include thirty-four books, monographs, or chapters in books and over one-hundred refereed publications in scientific journals. Dr. Heather A. Hausenblas recently eamed her Ph.D. in sport and exercise psychology from the University of Westem Ontario. In addition to frequent presentations at national and international scientific and professional conferences, Heather has published her research in the Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology, Intemational Joumal of Sport Psychology, and The Sport Psychologist. In 1996, she was the recipient of The Young Scientist of Canada Award for Scholarly Achievement from the Canadian Society for Psychomotor Learning and Sport Psychology. Her interests include teaching fitness classes and she is a National Certified Fitness Instructor. Over the past three years, Heather has served as Editorial Assistant for the Journal of Applied Sport Psychology.
