The Upshot is a sporty, co-molded, highly technical design. Through a proprietary process, the strength of Grilamid® and the performance of Thermogrip™ are combined to offer exceptional fit, durability and performance.Features:- Co-molded frame with Grilamid TR 90 and hydrophyllic Megol.
- Frame composite is constructed with Grilamid TR 90.
- Stainless steel hardware and wire core and temple tips.
- Molded polycarbonate lenses with CarboGlas® coating; Bolle's® proprietary, industrial strength coating is applied to both sides of the lens for greater scratch resistance.
- Anti-reflective Coating: Glare comes from two directions. This scientifically engineered coating on the backside of most Bolle® lenses eliminates backside glare to reduce eye strain.
- ANSI Standards: Bolle lenses exceed American National Standard Institute (ANSI) requirements for UV protection, impact resistance and optical clarity.
- UVA/UVB Protection: Bolle® exceeds the industry standard with 100% UVA/UVB protection, up to 400 nanometers.
- Polarization: The optically precise filter embedded in the lens eliminates most glare and reflected light.
- Modulator™ Lens: Active Cell Technology works at the molecular level, quickly responding to changing light conditions to give you the best eye protection and performance. This all-purpose lens is a neutral gray that allows the ideal light transmission while fighting glare on cloudy and sunny days. Approximate percentage of visible light transmission: 26%-12%
