Shell's Wonderful World of Golf was a weekly television series that aired from 1962 through 1970 and was the first golf matches ever filmed for a television series. This video is a golf match between Gay Brewer and Billy Casper, played at the Doral "Blue Monster" in Florida and was originally aired on March 2, 1968. Gay Brewer, the gentle Texan, got his start in golf early, winning the 1949 United States Junior Championship. After making his way onto the PGA Tour in 1956, he silently went on to win 11 PGA Tour titles, including the 1967 Masters. Billy Casper, one of the game's most consistent players, reached prominence in 1958 when he won four PGA Tour events. The next year he won the first of two U.S. Opens and went on to win 51 PGA Tour victories. He represented the U.S. on a record of nine Ryder Cup Teams. 60 Minutes.
