What are they used for?
Primarily to control stiffness and pain. They increase circulation to reduce the aches and pains that keep you inactive. They are ideal for tired aching muscles or joints from sporting activity, exercise and repetitive stress injuries. The Goode Wraps help the muscles maintain strength and prevent or lessen the sharp pain in joints from tendon stress.

What are Goode Wraps, anyway?
They are elasticized cloth bands, elastic strips, adhesive patches and cones. Each of these is impregnated with a unique blend of natural rare earth semiconductors that increase circulation to reduce stiffness and prevent pain. Goode Wraps are available for the foot, ankle, knee, hip, back, elbows, shoulder, wrist and fingers. In fact, the semiconductors can be added to almost any cloth like material.

Is there anything similar on the market?
Not in the United States. Only in Japan and Belgium. Goode Wraps are the first products of this type to be made available here and the process is patented in Japan and the United States.

Why are they so expensive?
The rare earth semiconductors are just that, rare. Therefore they are expensive. The more semiconductor elements found on each Goode Wraps product, the more expensive it becomes. The blend of semi-conducting materials making up the tiny cones is bound together by a non-toxic resin and carefully applied to the band or an adhesive tape which holds it next to the skin. These elements are quite rare, and even in tiny amounts are very costly. Thus the higher than expected cost of the individual products.

The good news with Goode Wraps is that if they are properly cared for, they will last a long time!

Internet Postings and Letters From Users

Bob Willmot, Engineer and Investment Banker-Sponsor of Bob's ACL WWWBoard on the Internet

"As you've probably already seen I'm recovering from a bilateral ACL reconstruction of both knees (patellar tendon auto-graphs). Needless to say my tendons have been a bit annoyed by having their middle third cut out. I've found a great product that has eliminated my patellar tendon pain. They do have University Research reports on-line, but being an engineer I figured I'd do my own research. I used the wrap on my right knee and left my left knee as the control group. I've been doing this for a little over a week and my right patellar tendon feels dramatically better (no more stiffness in the morning, or pain when I sit for long periods). The result of my extensive:) research: I'm going to get another wrap for my other knee."

Jennifer D'Andrea, recovering from ACL surgery, posting to Bob's WWWBoard.

"Well, I have been using my wrap for several days now and I definitely feel better. Less stiffness and pain after sitting for long periods. I wear it to sleep and during the day if possible. I expect to wear it to sleep until my ACL knee feels just like my other knee. I would definitely endorse this product."

Charles A. Krohn, Retired Lt. Colonel US Army, Author of The Lost Battalion.

"I don't believe in miracles or the supernatural. And Idon't read horoscopes. But I've got to tell you that the resultsof my applying the Goode Wraps to my foot have been visible, tangible, and overwhelming.

"For all of my professional life in the US Army and beyond, Imay not have been athletic, but exercise was always animportant part of my life. About two years ago, however, thepain in the right foot was so intense that I was reluctant tocontinue my morning jog. Further, my foot doctor said it wasunwise. The shots he gave me helped relieve the intense pain, but the throb continued, and I was reluctant to do anything toaggravate the condition.

"About two weeks ago I applied some of the items you sent me: socks and patches. The effect was immediate. Today, I'm pleased to report, that I felt no discomfort whatsoever in myfoot, where the pain was the greatest. And that's before and after a one-mile run this morning. Further, the swelling on my left foot has all but disappeared."

Dr. Rudy J. Horwitz, Director Pennsylvania Psychological Services

"By nature, I'm a skeptic. When my brother-in-lawsuggested I try an elastic band for my carpal tunnel problems,I quietly laughed. After explaining to me that the band wasimpregnated with semiconductors, I laughed some more. Infact, I continued laughing while wearing a band immediatelyafter a particularly painful episode of my condition. However,my laughter stopped when I realized something--the band, infact, did work!

"Unfortunately, the "band" was given to me afterI went through several months of conventional treatment for my condition. This included the use of a fitted removable cast in addition to two to three hour-long hand therapy sessions over a period of six weeks. I am curious as to whether or not the use of the "band" would have shortened the treatmenttime?"

Gilbert Spector, MD, Hogil Pharmaceutical Corporation

"My wife reluctantly agreed to wear a patch over a hot spotin her lower back area. Twenty four hours later she wasexperiencing reduced levels of pain in her entire back. Fortyeight hours and the relief continues! She gave her physicaltherapist a patch for his neck pain."

Frank Bender, Bender Warehouse Company

"While you were over in Japan, Don gave me another knee wrap for Bobbie who was suffering with fluid on her knee. Here is her response--another happy person."

Bobbie Bender

"The arrival of your miracle gift came at the perfect time. I was into a project around the patio and halfway through wondering if I could finish. So I made a cup of tea, opened up my mail, and there it was, with those magic spots. I put it on right away and indeed have only removed it when I shower. What ever its treating power to relieve swelling and pain is quite amazing. I believe now that I can get back on the walking machine and regain some strength in my leg."
