High-precision weight analysis means anesthetics can be dosed exactly. In addition, a dampening function ensures that movements of very restless animals do not influence the accuracy of the weighing results. The intelligent auto-HOLD function stores the weight so value can be read after the animal is removed from the scale and secured. A TARE function allows for weighing the animal in the owner's arms or in a basket for example, then deducting the extra weight on the second weighing step, with the touch of a button. The remote display connected by a cable can be used to read the value comfortably at a desk or at eye-level on the wall, making the operation of the 606 especially convenient. Battery power allows the scale to be used almost anywhere, providing power for up to 10,000 weighings with one set of batteries; an optional wall-mounted A/C adapter is available.
